Insights/New Discoveries:
👍 Part of the Component of the Shamir sounds like the Ark of the Covenant. This may have provided power or for storage: a portable nuclear device for the cutting laser to take it to mountain quarries.
👍 The 'Metal Box' associated with the Shamir legend seems to be related to the Ark of the Covenant.
👍 The Ark could be used to monitor Cherenkov Radiation due to its 'Antennae', inspired by insects. Double Horns, possibly an earlier incarnation. Then you know whether it's safe to open or not!
👍 The Ark of the Covenant would I think have been made of Orichalcum, not coated in gold, which brings us to:
👍 'Atlantis' may have been, due to its strange 'metal layering' some kind of fuel-containment plant, especially as water was abundant for cooling possible fuel rods. This sophisticated but decaying network was inherited by a later civilisation.
👍 The compartmentalisation of a nuclear device in a box would have allowed other applications such as propulsion, say in the vimanas.
