Giza Pyramids Explained!

In Scandinavian mythology the three pyramids are the home of the triple goddess, who live under world mountain, possibly represented by the three Queens pyramids next to the Khufu pyramid, or the three unfinished pyramids next to the Menkaura pyramid also. This is to make sure that Egyptian fertility will never fail. It is also possibly designed to enhance fertility in Egypt, not simply of crops but everything, perhaps humans as well. The Giza plateau was used for this purpose by locals until the 20th century. Please check out the below videos for more information on this.

Giza Pyramids Explained! This might be my 'trailer' for now.

Why Three Queens' Pyramids at Giza?

What is going on?

The three Giza pyramids are essentially either a representation or a physical home or resting place for the triple goddess. They are also represented in the Bible as the Babel religion, that is, a religion which has spread throughout the world, composed of people building towers as close to heaven as possible (pyramids?) I noticed this in Ireland when I noticed cairns placed on the very tops of mountains. The highest possible part of the mountain was chosen for cairns, around 4000 BC, and they have stood there ever since! Ireland represents an earlier manifestation of the pyramid religion than Giza, neolithic cairn-building and Sin(moon crescent)-worshiping farmers having traveled there in ancient times, before the construction of the Giza pyramids, which are a more civic and formal later manifestation of this religion.

The religion itself is the continuation of the neolithic triple-goddess religion. What we see at Giza is possibly three homes for the triple god, and in addition three homes at the base of two of the 'mountains', Menkaura and Khafra pyramids, for the triple goddess.

Who is the Triple Goddess?

The Triple Goddess in later times evolved into many forms, the black Madonna, and also this lady, Diana or Artemis, with her hounds.

Diana, also associated with the moon, original Semitic god. Her bow is the moon. She has three aspects.

In fact, it would seem that the Spinx and Giza was once possibly a dog, as per the theories of Robert Temple. In addition there is some speculation that there was more than one sphinx on site! The Three Queens' pyramids of the Khufu pyramid are on the same side of the complex as the Sphinx. The triple Goddess would have her home, as well as her hound(s).

Here we have possibly the triple goddess' home under the Menkaura pyramid. The Khufu pyramid have three more well-built structures. They are attributed to various queens, but details are sketchy. If we follow Scandinavian mythology, which may preserve very early elements of Eurasian mythology, these might represent the triple goddess who lives under world mountain.

The Giza pool-table mystery! These are not tombs! But I'll show you what they really are!

I have made a pool-table model and cardboard pyramids at my home in order to explain the Giza mystery!

For decades, people have categorically stated that the Giza pyramids look like they belong at the end of Egyptian history, rather than at the beginning, as they occur.

Giza Pyramids, Actually a Temple for the Triple Goddess?

What's really amazing is that no-one has really linked the Triple Goddess with the

Off center but who cares, it's what's in it that matters!

The Giza pyramids are the final relic of worship of the Eurasian Triple Goddess.

Pyramids are not what we know of as the 'Egyptian' religion, but an older one

Pyramid invaders into Egypt.

The evidence is clear. The presence of worldwide pyramids, (Babel builders were 'scattered' around the world) particularly in the light of continuous redating of pyramids all over America to earlier and earlier times, shows us that one cannot explain the evolution of pyramids in solely Egyptian terms This is truly an unexplained worldwide phenomenon. This acknowledgement has consequences for Egyptian prehistory..

Pyramid builders invaded Egypt from two directions.

One of the things I suggest in my book is that evolution of pyramids did not occur solely in Egypt, an idea which dovetails into the Egyptological desire to specialize only on Egypt. Rather, pyramids are found everywhere, going well back, I argue, to the days of the temple discovered in Turkey in the 90s, which dates from several millennia after the Ice Age ended, Gobekli Tepe. That temple, being on top of a hill, like Giza, has pyramid-like attributes, particularly as it was an established structure, subsequently covered over. The religion of covering over old sites with soil is found as far as Britain, Ireland and the Americas. In Ireland roundhouse palaces became mounds. Communal longhouses belonging to the tribe were covered over and subsequently became long barrows in Britain and continental Europe. In Poland these survive as 'pyramids' in primordial polish forests, untouched by the plow Polish Pyramids.   ..

Given the profusion of worldwide 'pyramid' culture and idea, the fact an ancient temple to the ancestors becomes a huge mound (and whether or not such mounds derive from the mountain-worship religion of primordial times), we can expect that Egypt would in fact, lying on a land bridge, between Africa and Asia, have been invaded by various pyramid cultures at several times, which are far older than Egypt. This is the 'explanation' that many have been seeking for why it is that pyramids occur at the very beginning of Egyptian history. Although the heyday of pyramids was the third millennium BC, they go back well before that, into prehistory. We know this due to archaeology, but also more or less by the fact that no-one from even historic times (post 3100 BC) knows or recorded what pyramids are for It's been old hat for a very long time indeed
Was this hill in Turkey an early 'pyramid'?. . .
In fact, in the book, I argue that Egypt was invaded by two different pyramid cultures. Some invasions are cyclic and periodic. For instance look at the Viking invasions of the British Isles. Vikings became Northmen, became Normans, Saxons, and then 'English'. English then invaded Ireland and in many cases became Irish nationalists. Irish people then basically traveled everywhere. The process was ongoing for thousands of years.

I believe that pyramids they evolved in Egypt due in part to internal developments but also due to (something Egyptologists generally allow for, but won't discuss for a variety of reasons) invasion. The invasion need not have been bloody. There is no evidence that it was. Look at migrations ongoing today into Europe.

The origin of Third and Fourth dynasties

In the book, I suggest that the Third Dynasty was a culture which comes from an unknown eastern direction. This was possibly not Mesopotamia, because this culture, in Egypt, lacks many Mesopotamian details, despite having very similar pyramids which look like Ziggurats.
The culture was then usurped by invaders, I am guessing from the west, who instituted the fourth dynasty. These I hazard, are from the plains of Eurasia. They sought to build a stupa-like structure but were unable to do so in the Egyptian desert. Who knows if they build one in the endlessly changing Nile Valley. What they did do however was impart their knowledge, as well as that of the existing Egyptians, to build casing stones for their pyramids, smoothing them over, as if they were mounds made of soil, which are essentially smooth.
We went from step pyramids.... .

To smooth pyramids with the change of a dynasty. Now I wonder if the bend in the bent pyramid is not deliberate, to simulate an earth mound of Eurasia perhaps? Archaeologists see it as a mistake..
I think this may have inspired Biblical stories about Joseph (perhaps one inspiration for  Djozer/Zozer), and subsequently replaced later by Pharaoh, who then oppressed the inhabitants. This reminds one of the oppression spoken of by Herodotus, similar to Fourth Dynasty leaders like Khufu who essentially had a different religion or purpose to the Egyptians. Of course a similar scenario may have happened later on, with New Kingdom usurping Hyksos kingdom, but legends are not history, so any significant historical period could have contributed ideas to later stories

Egypt then may well have been a clash of pyramid cultures This clash then inspired the evolution of pyramids, during the third millennium before Christ.

The Triple god and Giza

The major claim of my book: In Search of the Origin of Pyramids, is that the three pyramids of the Giza plateau probably represent the triple Goddess. The major stumbling block however is trying to work out exactly which Goddess is being represented. What is her overall name? What are the name of the constituent gods or goddesses? We do not know the answer and I suspect the answer was not known even at the time the pyramids were being constructed. In short they were built for flexibility because there were so many varieties of triple goddess out there at the time of building!

In reading a book recently, Astrology in Ancient Mesopotamia, by Michael Beigent, I come across the knowledge that the first deities of the Semites were the Sun (Shamash), Moon (Sin) and Venus,(Ishtar)*, forming a kind of triple deity. These are the known deities at the very beginning of history. (Giza pyramids were built about 500 years (2600BC) after the beginning of history 3100 BC) This is rather insightful. In fact I was not aware of this when I made the suggestion in my book about the nature of the goddess on the Giza plateau or a parallel development in ancient Mexico: the Teotiuacan complex!

Let's have a look.

Moon and Sun

I think the ancient pyramid cult, in whatever culture it found itself, being spread throughout the world long before the fourth millennium BC, but thereafter again and again crossing over, one culture on top of another, was archaeoastronomical in outlook. A pyramid complex is a world center or an archaeoastronomical complex. The most significant astronomical ideas to evoke our wonder in this instance would be the Sun and Moon. The fact they are the same size in the sky would of course make them incredibly interesting not only to us, but also to early astronomers, as if they were two halves of a related god/goddess. It is as if the gods deliberately made the moon, as a mask, to obscure the sun, in order to either scare us, or teach us about astronomy! Occasionally Venus of course pops up next to the Sun or Moon.

Venus

Then we have the smaller component, Venus. This is the fire god, Vulcan as a morning star to the Romans. Venus has such peculiar and rapid behaviour that it was seen as two separate gods. One for morning behaviour and one for evening behaviour. In the evening it sets with Sun, but rises with Sun in the morning.

Giza

Now we are prepared to examine Giza in the context of the triple God. In looking at the structure of the plateau we see two objects of the same size, possibly Moon and Sun, and then a third object, possibly Venus. Again I am assuming flexibility here in the ancient interpretation or building design of this huge mega-monument to the triple goddess. Venus here would be the fire god, the third and smallest pyramid. It is hardly a Venus colour, the Menkaura pyramid was intended to be a pink or red granite, (fire god?) but this was never completed! I think Giza was the final great monument to the Triple deity to be found in the western hemisphere.

In looking at the Giza complex, we may see three aspects of the triple goddess, moon, sun and Venus. Of course the Egyptians were flexible. There was never just one interpretation of the triple deity! Egypt herself had several, even overlapping interpretations! A sense of this overlap is given by the fact of the existence of three Queens pyramids next to the Mycerinus pyramid, and also three queens pyramids next to the Khufu pyramid, more Triple goddesses! The Khufu pyramid was also intended as a sort of model of Earth, RE the incorporation of Earth's polar radius. I cover related ratios for the Khafre pyramid in my book.

There were many different triple deities during Old Egyptian times.  The Goddess was far far older than Egypt and accords with an ideology and pattern which pre-dates Egypt, a pattern people who have said: 'Giza belongs at the end, not the beginning', have sought for millennia!

Mexico

If we look to the Teotihuacan complex, we see much the same pattern. It tells us that the Giza/Teotihuacan cult are similar not because of trans-Atlantic travel during Egyptian times, as suggested by Heyerdahl, but rather because both are older cults than their surviving components.

There are three pyramids at Teotihuacan, Moon, Sun, and Feathered Serpent, possibly a later manifestation of the Fire God Venus?

In the figure above, we are looking at something quite similar to Giza. Of course this implies that both are relics of a cult which is far older. It also puts the current estimate of the age of Teotihuacan, being the first centuries AD, at far too recent for the actual initial construction of these monuments. Older layers may reveal an earlier dating pattern.

It is also available in paperback edition for those who wish to make notes. I guarantee you will see info linking Giza with the worldwide pyramid religion, found no-where else.

 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

* It just occurs to me that the word for moon, Sin, may have been transferred to the word 'Sun' by Phoenecian tin traders, trading with Germans in ancient times. The link is the moon was an early monotheism, transferred to solar monotheism.

Is the Meidum Pyramid, the collapsed tower of Babel?

This is a rather different article, sourcing information found in Appendix D of my book, In Search of the Origin of Pyramids and the Lost Gods of Giza, available cheaply in Kindle edition. It is also available in paperback edition

Firstly, in Genesis... we appear to see a description of the world-wide pyramid religion

Providing the general outline here, I will add comments to the Bible. I feel that the Babel story as found in Genesis is merely a way of explaining, in ancient times, the prevalence of the pyramid religion around the world. It is perhaps a relic of the trading empires of the Bronze Age, a story which later found its way into the Bible. It seems to be rather different indeed from the collapse story!
1.Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. As people moved eastward, they found a plain in and settled there.
This is possibly a way of explaining to people, in ancient times, why it is that pyramids are found everywhere. Eastward movement, a religion arising out of drowned Doggerland?
2.They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar.
3 And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”
This seems to be suggesting that if the people, perhaps semi-nomadic, won't build a tower, they might become scattered.
4 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.
The idea of the Lord 'coming down' seems to imply some form of solar worship, the sun striking a certain rock around equinoxes, solstices, etc. In fact, Robert Temple has recently found the Giza complex to be highly archaeo-astronomical.
5 And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.
6 Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.”
7 So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city.
This seems to be a retelling of section 1.), a kind of circularity of logic. The people were initially prevalent everywhere, yet were scattered because of their arrogance, but this time their languages became unclear to one another. Perhaps the unknown trading empire had collapsed.
8 Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.
— Genesis 11:4–9
Nothing is mentioned of any collapse here. Merely that people began to build a tower in one place, and then this people were scattered across the earth.

The collapse

Information  about the supposed collapse of the tower of Babel may have pertained to the collapse of some other structure, subsequently associated with the tower of Babel. The text of Jubilees, like every Biblical work, is very fascinating. It reads like a historical chronicle! Considered canonical to the Ethiopian church it is not canonical to other churches. It is also known as the Lesser Genesis.

  1. (18) And in the three and thirtieth jubilee, in the first year in the second week, Peleg took to himself a wife, whose name was Lomna the daughter of Sina'ar, and she bare him a son in the fourth year of this week, and he called his name Reu; for he said: 'Behold the children of men have become evil through the wicked purpose of building for themselves a city and a tower in the land of Shinar.'
  2. For they departed from the land of Ararat eastward to Shinar; for in his days they built the city and the tower, saying, 'Go to, let us ascend thereby into heaven.'
Ararat being Urartu, a land of the north. Shinar being Sumer. This implies the pyramid religion was thought to have come down out of the north. Urartu also has mountains. Did they miss mountains enough to build an artificial one?
  1. And they began to build, and in the fourth week they made brick with fire, and the bricks served them for stone, and the clay with which they cemented them together was asphalt which comes out of the sea, and out of the fountains of water in the land of Shinar.
  2. And they built it: forty and three years [1645-1688 A.M.] were they building it; its breadth was 203 bricks, and the height (of a brick) was the third of one; its height amounted to 5433 cubits and 2 palms, and (the extent of one wall was) thirteen stades (and of the other thirty stades).
2.4 km tall according to the google version of what a cubit was. The real answer may elude us. This also seems to preserve the memory of something having taken 43 years to build. I suppose we shall never know what that was.
  1. And the Lord our God said unto us: Behold, they are one people, and (this) they begin to do, and now nothing will be withholden from them. Go to, let us go down and confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech, and they may be dispersed into cities and nations, and one purpose will no longer abide with them till the day of judgment.'
  2. And the Lord descended, and we descended with him to see the city and the tower which the children of men had built.
  3. And he confounded their language, and they no longer understood one another's speech, and they ceased then to build the city and the tower.
  4. For this reason the whole land of Shinar is called Babel, because the Lord did there confound all the language of the children of men, and from thence they were dispersed into their cities, each according to his language and his nation.
  5. And the Lord sent a mighty wind against the tower and overthrew it upon the earth, and behold it was between Asshur and Babylon in the land of Shinar, and they called its name 'Overthrow'.
  6. In the fourth week in the first year [1688 A.M.] in the beginning thereof in the four and thirtieth jubilee, were they dispersed from the land of Shinar.
  7. (28)And Ham and his sons went into the land which he was to occupy, which he acquired as his portion in the land of the south.
 Jubilees 10:18-28

Ham, or the Hamites, then supposedly took Africa, The Egyptian speech being Hamitic. Ignoring the geography for one moment, since legends tend to be all over the place, sourcing their ideas from everywhere, down the generations, we may look to a rather famous pyramid collapse, so famous that it altered the slope of the subsequent 'bent' pyramid from pi/4 to pi/3.

The Bent Pyramid, supposedly built after the Meidum pyramid

In the early 20th century, Egyptologists said the Bent Pyramid was altered in slope during its building work due to the fact that the perhaps wanted to save on building materials. Mendelssohn pointed out, as did perhaps several before him, that the collapse of the Meidum pyramid may have spurned the change in angle of the Meidum pyramid.

Tower of Babel?

The tower of Babel legend is segmented into various areas. In terms of notions found in the earlier book of Genesis, people literally, supposedly had to build a tower, to avoid being scattered. It is almost as if this was part of their religion and more than one tower of babel was built. Pyramid building essentially seems to have been a sort of fertility religion. Build pyramids, as a kind of artificial mountain, crops grow in its shadow. If not, the tribe must move on to more fertile regions.

This is the remnant of the Meidum Pyramid. It is a sort of inner core. The supposed collapsed casing and other parts of the pyramid are found around it (according to another theory, the 'collapsed' part is actually the ramp of an unfinished pyramid!)

Legends come in all forms. Genesis supposedly retains material, ideas brought from Sumer, yet much later prophet Moses lived in Egypt. It was his home. Egypt cannot be divorced from the Biblical story. Is this then the pyramid or tower associated with the book of Jubilees? The collapse may have had a momentous impact upon Egyptian culture as well as pyramid design. Yet.... didn't find its way into the Bible! Or did it?

Do Goldfish believe in magic? (Strange goldfish behaviour #1)

Do Goldfish believe in magic?

This is an article about sympathetic magic and goldfish. It is well known that sympathetic magic characterises primitive society. For examples, The Golden Bough, by Frazer, is an excellent study into sympathetic magic.

One example of sympathetic magic (or invoked synchronisation) which I recall from Frazer's book is the following. Can't catch a fish? Throw a friend into the water and then pull him out with a fishing rod! Simply, re-enacting what you want to happen, should trigger the event to occur. That's sympathetic magic. Voodoo would be quite an extreme form of sympathetic magic, practiced by all societies.

A recent study has affirmed earlier studies in suggesting a link between IQ and religious belief. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religiosity_and_intelligence)

A supposed link between IQ and belief in magic, or religion, from the above article. Negatively correlated.

Firstly there is nothing wrong with religious belief and I am myself highly religious, without any suggestion of not having much of a brain. (perhaps on the contrary!) However, what the result suggests, is that the smaller the brain, the stronger the religious belief! But what does this really suggest, and how far does this result go back in terms of the evolutionary process? Does it just cover animals? How many animals and how far? How do insects think and do they live in a world of magic? It has recently been 'noticed' that even Chimpanzees build cairn-like monuments and worship trees. Their brains are not half of ours.

What the little scientific titbit seems to suggest is that the lower the IQ, the stronger the belief that things happen, not due to religion, as the study suggests, (some of the smartest people are religious) but really, that low IQ is characterised by belief in magic. This is a more primitive subset which the studies in question do not define so well.

Anyway, I was wondering whether one of my pet goldfish exhibits the behaviour of thinking according to the rules of `sympathetic magic.'Let me explain!

I had one goldfish, a comet, named Goldilocks. Noticing them at the pet shop, these all seem to be rather greedy, fat specimens, sweeping back and forth at the front of the fish tank, stalking their owners, mouths gaping, and intimidating all other fish into submission.

Here is the sympathetic-magic behaviour exhibited! They see the owner, and the mouthes open and close, a sort of begging behaviour to show the owner they are hungry, OR, a sympathetic magic behaviour, because they know that owner plus mouth opening and closing is associated with past eating behaviour! They are perhaps trying to trigger eating behaviour by making the motions!

What do you think? Any fish owners out there?

Is Khufu the Pharaoh of exodus? Interesting new evidence!

I have uncovered some interesting new evidence regarding the possible identity of the pharaoh of Exodus, though I am not sure whether or not it really means anything significant. The main conclusion that can be drawn is that Khufu was a rather oppressive man: subsequently associated with Pharaoh of Exodus!

The information below comes out of Appendix  A in my book. (See Below)

The nature of legends

Legends are not reality or history. What often tends to happen is that entertaining details of the past are retained but names are forgotten, or retained until replaced by more interesting names, Robin Hood, for instance. That set of legends appropriated a whole branch of earlier outlaw legends, some dating back thousands of years. In the Bible we do not have information about pyramid builders. Instead we have information about Pharaoh, who oppressed the Egyptians: the common theme. Herodotus tells us quite a similar story, about a king who actually seems to have been called 'Pharaoh' (of the royal house? or 'per' for palace, as in 'pyramid') who was not of the people. Instead he was of a different religion, and who oppressed a group of people within Egypt.

The man's name was Khufu.

Ignoring the term 'Israelites' we may again look at the story with new eyes. Does the story of Exodus incorporate an earlier story which was rather similar? Herodotus mentions people oppressed by Khufu, with temples shut down to build up the Giza necropolis instead. In other words the Giza necropolis was a different religion, to that represented by the Egyptian temples. Herodotus specifically mentions that he was told that the kings did not appreciate the Egyptian gods. Who were these kings then? It is a great mystery! People often remark that the pyramids are not compatible with what we know of the chronology of Egypt, and may be based on technologies acquired elsewhere.

In fact is is rather clear, as one researcher, Ralph Ellis points out in his self-published works, that pyramids have been written out of the Bible.

Or have they? Has Khufu been written out of the Bible?

Khufu: Pharaoh of the Exodus, or simply another oppressor?

The Koran

The Koran preserves some exceptionally early details. It provides us with some interesting legends on the architect of Babel. This was supposedly Haman. I was utterly taken by the resemblance between this name and another, found in history! Fascinatingly, a man called Hemiunu was architect of the Giza pyramids! Does it seem that somehow, the story of the Great Pyramid, found its way into a religious text, was incorporated in the Koran, and thereafter brought forward for posterity? The name Haman is not found in the Old Testament.

The Koran preserves the idea that Pharaoh (Khufu?) and Haman were of a different religion to the oppressed peoples: it states that Moses tried to invite them into monotheism, but they rejected his call. This is a second piece of evidence which shows Egypt was a mixture of cultures, one oppressing the other.

Hemiunu. Whatever his background, he was the architect or project manager of Giza in Khufu's time.

Did the Fourth Dynasty Oppress the remnants of the Third Dynasty?

Despite what is usually claimed: that Egypt was peaceful, free of invasions (not many warlike grave goods) and therefore everything, including pyramids developed within Egypt with little outside contact, it is quite clear that there was huge cultural change across the dynasties. It is not perhaps for nothing that the Third dynasty is coincidentally almost Sumerian or Mesopotamian in their style, but this perhaps represents a progenitor style shared with early Sumeria, easterners who settled in both Egypt and Mesopotamia at the same time.

So in some ways these could well be the invaders from the East, who became kings in Lower Egypt, built their own style of pyramids, and were subsequently oppressed by fourth Dynasts, a new culture who made their very own style of pyramid as a smooth shape. (Pyramid builders were already well established around the world) Later on the story of this became or was incorporated into that of the 'Israelites' being oppressed by 'Egyptians.' I suggest in my book that the fourth dynasty special of a smooth shape pyramid was inspired by the smooth shape mounds of Eurasia.

A Third Dynasty Pyramid. There is an obvious relation link between real King Zoser of this pyramid and Joseph of the Bible, which has been pointed out on many occasions. I am not saying they are the same. The Bible may merely retain a memory of Zoser. Following on from Joseph, of course, was 'Pharaoh'

A Smooth Fourth Dynasty Pyramid, that of Khufu. I suggest it is based upon the Earth mound style of Eurasia, from European mounds to Stupas of Asia. One cannot make a mound from Egyptian earth, as in Europe. Stones are required.

Silbury Hill. England. It's a step pyramid underneath, but has been smoothed over with soil.

Was Göbekli Tepe an early type of pyramid?

Göbekli Tepe: An Early form of Pyramid?

For those who do not wish to read the book, (In Search of the Origin of Pyramids and the Lost Gods of Giza, available cheaply in Kindle edition.) or watch the accompanying documentaries and short videos (with a scale model structure!) which will be made, for you-tube, here is the low-down on what could be one of the first 'pyramids' in the world.

There is something very odd about...this hill in Turkey. It really reminds me of the pyramid religion... more particularly the Axis Mundi, or World Mound religion. In my book I define pyramid a hill or man-made mound, specifically based around the idea of an axis mundi religion, seen as a world mound, from which creation ensued in the distant past.

Göbekli Tepe

This  place, founded in the tenth millennium BC, and abandoned in the eighth millennium BC, is a very strange place indeed.

One thing which cannot however be discounted, is that it is clearly a type of early 'pyramid', in fact one of the earliest of so-called pyramids. (I call it that... no-one else does!) Walking through the pictures below , we see something very interesting indeed!

Here we see a picture of the Giza plateau. Notice the pyramids are on a hill? (plateau?)

Here we see a picture of the incredible Knocknarea plateau (the almost-unknown Irish version of Giza!)

Here we see the view from Knocknarea, where there are mounds on a hill. Believe me, the hill is huge, it was a long walk!

Here we see the view from Göbekli Tepe. It is on top of a mountain!

We may think of the Giza necropolis as a Knocknarea or Göbekli Tepe which has been updated in more 'modern' times, ie 2500 BC as opposed to about 4000 BC or 9000 BC respectively! Giza is the final form of the great megalithic complex for the Triple Goddess before the cult died out in about 2500 BC in Europe and slightly later in Egypt. Egyptologists do not yet appreciate this, and are unaware of it, but they will be.

Despite its ridiculous age of c. 9000 BC, Göbekli Tepe was found covered over. A further reason for its preservation, unlike many mounds in Europe, was that it was found on a hilltop, not suitable for agriculture. Silbury Hill, greatest mound in Europe was also covered over, having been a step pyramid of packed chalk and clay.

Silbury Hill, near Avebury

We do not know what structures the Giza pyramids cover, but they could be massive! We also know that the pyramids of the Sun and Moon at Tenochtitlan have literally hundreds upon hundreds of layers. It was almost a ritual to continue to cover them over, re-affirming their fertility. I notice that in the primordial pyramid religion from say 4000 BC, soil was likely brought from all over the countryside, to be sanctified in one holy place, a behaviour I noticed in Ireland, found elsewhere, and a topic I cover in my book! When the Pyramid of the Sun was being excavated, strangely enough it was thought to have been covered in enormous amounts of earth... these were stripped away until a stone structure was found, loose stones over more earth and clay! Excavations went on too long, until it was realised that they had been excavating the underlying structure of the pyramid!

Conclusion

With its ridiculously high location, the turkish temple would appear to be in accord with what we know about the pyramid or what I call the tower-of-babel religion. It is further in accord with what we know about the

Liquid metal inside pyramids?

Liquid Metal inside pyramids?

This article dates back to 2015. I just noticed that I had never completed it, so here goes...

I saw a recent post on a popular forum. Somebody was asking why it was that liquid metal was recently found under a Mexican pyramid?

They went on to ask why there were lakes of some form or another, artificial ones, beneath various pyramids. I can perhaps help to answer this question. Think for one moment about the pyramid of the feathered serpent. Here we have a very unique phenomenon at work.

Upon the equinoxes, one can see a feathered serpent coming down from heaven, effectively a shadow on the side of the staircase, where the bannister on the side effectively is carved out like a serpent. As the astronomical phenomenon proceeds we effectively see the snake coming down to Earth.

It is all rather clear that this relates to the legend found in the Bible, of Satan coming down to heaven. We therefore find this old story here, primordial, spread around the world by the original pyramid religion!

Naturally, it is rather clear that here we have one of the problems of pyramid research... we always see rather similar constructions, never obviously derived from diffusion from a single source. Thor Heyerdahl often toyed with the idea of Mexican Pyramids deriving from the Egyptian pyramids. He looked at the common use of brain surgery and other various similarities between the cultures. The problem is that his ideas were never convincing. He even had several reed rafts built, attempting to prove that such expeditions were possible, in ancient times.

In Heyerdahl's peak time of the 50s and 60s, we really only knew about pyramids in Egypt and America. We knew that the Mexican pyramids seemed to be much younger so it was natural to assume that there was a simple case of diffusion. Yet never has a single hieroglyph ever been discovered in the Americas. Clearly this was no case of cultural diffusion.

It was still all rather unconvincing. The problem was that we are really looking at common ancestors, rather than Egypt as a progenitor. Let us look at this as a step-by-step process. Firstly, I began to notice in my little adventures (read about them in my book In Search of the Origin of Pyramids and the Lost Gods of Giza) that various holy hills around Europe, fertility mounds, are found near fountains. 'Creations spreads from this point', seemed to have been a common theme.

Water is often found under pyramids. The interior of the Great pyramid has a considerable humidity, possibly from water-bearing limestone strata underneath. In fact a lake or two used to be found at Giza, upon the plateau, which in fact turned red at a certain time of year!

Walking up the sacred hill of Knocknarrea, with mounds older in fact than the Giza pyramid, I noticed water just pouring out, and into this fountain!

Mercury is imperishable water

Simply put, Mercury is an excellent water for the gods, a sort of imperishable water. It is obviously not meant for human consumption, though the ancient peoples may not have known this. It is water for the fire god, the resemblance of molten metal which otherwise needs a great deal of heat.

An imperishable lake?

Taking the idea of a progenitor culture of pyramid builders, from say the 4th millennium B.C., we encounter the idea of mercury as possibly an imperishable lake, particularly as a 'large amount' was supposedly uncovered underneath a Mexican pyramid. There is something else going on here. Alchemy. Alchemy was very particularly the science of chemistry as based in Egypt. Mercury itself was sourced from a sulfide ore, cinnabar. Are we in fact looking at alchemy, not as an Egyptian science, but a science of the pyramid-building proto-states of semi-nomadic pyramid builders of the fourth millennium BC?

It is also imperishable godly semen, ensuring endless fertility for the land

We are familiar with the concept of meteoric iron being associated by Ancient Egyptians with the semen of the fertility male god Osiris. With pyramids viewed in the context of perpetual fertility, in particular as the Great Triple Goddess, as mentioned in my book, it becomes clear that this is a sort of semen of the fire god, if viewed in this particular way. Perhaps in Mexican terms, as the serpent god. If we look at the Teotihuacan complex as a form of the triple god, we see three great pyramids, Sun, Moon and Serpent pyramids. The Serpent pyramid would be that of the fire god.

My own theory is that cinnabar, being red is a natural substance of the fire god. In my own book I propose that the unfinished third pyramid of Giza, the Menkaura pyramid, which was supposed to have been covered in red or pink granite, was the pyramid of the banished fire god. Never finished, possibly as he was regarded as evil, or simply because, as Herodotus pointed out, Egyptians were tired of these strange 'other' gods, possibly because they belonged to another culture which clashed with their own.

Pyramid of the Lost Fire God? His consort would be one of the goddess components of the triple goddess?

Well my book is out there! Prepare for sensation!

I have finally gotten my book In Search of the Origin of Pyramids, out there, and have gotten around to finally making a blog post about it! Working on many projects, including having designed three historical walking tours for a tourism enterprise, one does not have a lot of time for everything one needs to get done!

So, what's it about? Two things, worldwide pyramids, as well as the Giza Pyramid complex! I became obsessed with sorting out the Giza mess, trying to figure out what the Egyptians were thinking about when they designed it. There is a lot of material in the book, but if I could condense it into one point, it would be this:

Giza pyramids are the TRIPLE GODDESS.

What is the triple goddess? Also known as the Great Goddess, this is a primordial neolithic idea of a great woman who has three aspects, transcending all of creation. She has aspects of past, present and future, possibly represented by the three pyramids. This is essentially the Babel religion.

  • First piece of evidence: Giza is a hill location. Mounds are often found on hilltop locations, to be as close to heaven as possible, according with the biblical tradition. An ancient crescent-oriented Middle Eastern Religion of hilltop mounds reached ancient Ireland, where we find instances of the Babel religion. Fertility mounds are found all over Eurasia. It is difficult to make a fertility mound in a desert, so blocks were used.

Notice the hilltop location? This observation is crucial.

  • Second piece of evidence: The dream stela was chipped away by peasants until modern times seeking fertility. There was ancient knowledge of a fertility goddess on the hill, worshipped in Roman times as Isis.
  • Third piece of evidence: It is becoming clear the sphinx was re-carved in Middle Kingdom times into a face. Before this it was likely Anubis, a dog, companion of the triple goddess. (For instance, Artemis and the Hounds).

Diana (Artemis) a representation of the Triple Goddess which has survived into historical times. Her hound may well have been formerly represented in the Sphinx.

  • Fourth piece of evidence: The pyramid shafts are not consistent with Old Kingdom burial technique, which is evident at Giza as a vertical shaft underneath a mound-like mastaba, (another fertility-rebirth world-mound idea). The pyramid is therefore not a tomb, but is associated with tombs. The tombs might be underneath or elsewhere at Giza.

This is what an Old-Kingdom burial actually looks like! Not a pyramid chamber!*
  • The Khufu pyramid contains a supposed Queen's chamber, but also Queens' pyramids. How many queens can one man have, and why were they supposedly buried differently? I suggest the two internal chambers were for male and female gods. The God needs his consort.
  • I can go on and on, please read the book for more!
Any more?

That is essentially it.... for now! There is a great deal more, but it's in the book!

This is the triple goddess, as I photographed her at a small church in Soest, Germany, Westfalen. The amazing thing is that she is here presented looking down on the nativity of Jesus. Essentially a notion of fertility.
