WHY did Spain did not settle USA...?! It was uninhabitable?! PROOF!

ALSO WHY did Mr Mercator Draw America exactly as it looked in the Ice Ages! I mean it make so little sense! Either USA was totally under the Ice as little as 500 years ago, explaining the abandonment of Aztlan and Cahokia, (Azteks fled south to Mexico), explaining also why Spain, which OWNED USA, did not bother to settle the Eastern Coast, leaving it to England and France... OR Mr Mercator is sourcing a map of America from the actual Ice Ages! This makes so little sense! I wonder what is going on here!

We speculate also that the fleeing Aztlaners, as Frank Joseph points out, drowning their city... also did this to honor the memory of Atlantis and as a kind of weird future sacrifice to the gods to prevent them destroying their next home down south.

Another offshoot of this whole thing also is it explains why Plato said the Atlantic was no longer navigable. OMG! The shoals in the way could well have been sea ice!
