This building is called the Taq Kasra, in Iraq, the last ruin of the ancient town of Ctesiphon. It is clearly a competitor with Hagia Sophia which is what we say in this video! Built several years later possibly. It is clearly in the Roman style yet they say it must be Persian?!

Littering Egypt, these huge 'Inverted Mastabas', seem to have a pre-dynastic origin and here is possibly the proof. Either they are THIRD dynasty (rather than fourth) or they are Predynastic. Why do some of these have third dynasty brickwork and others have fourth-dynastic, cyclopean brickwork. It is as if the Egyptians just came along and did what they liked! OMG!
